This tour starts with a visit to the Acropolis hill where you see the Parthenon, the architectural masterpiece of golden age of Athens, devoted to Goddess Athena.

On the hill you will see also, the Propylea, the Temple of Wingless Victory which was devoted to Goddess Athena-Nike, the Erechtheum, the temples with the famous Caryatides, the Odeon of Herodes Atticus who is still used for music festivals and the theatre of Dionysus.

We continue by visiting the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Panathinaic Stadium, the Parliament and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier where we will see the famous changing of the guards.

Then we drive through University Street that connects Constitution (Syntagma) Square with Concord (Omonia) and see the Athens Trilogy, the Academy, the University and the National Library. Then we drive up to Lycabettus Hill (highest point of Athens) where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city.

We will spend some time in Plaka, the oldest and most picturesque part of Athens, seeing the Roman Agora, the Tower of the Winds and the ancient Agora of Athens, which was the place where the Athenians listen the speeches of Plato and Socrates about Democracy and Philosophy.

We have lunch at a traditional Greek restaurant and taste the famous Greek cuisine, and we will conclude our tour by visiting the Acropolis museum or the National Archaeological museum.
